Your Most Precious Possession

If you are a Christian your most precious possession is eternal life. God gave it to you. Do you remember that it is a free gift? Do you remember that you did not earn it and do not deserve it? Are you grateful? Are you living it? Is it changing you? Do you remember that it will outlast everything else? Do you remember that it is in you and that you can*t lose it? Are you wasting some of it?

The most important thing you can do for others is to encourage them to receive that most precious of possessions too. Are you convincing them that it is your most precious possession and that it could be theirs too? Are you praying for them? In the moments of your life are there things that seem more important to you? Are we keeping our priorities straight? These questions hit me right between the eyes too.

Philippians 3:8: Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,

Philippians 3:14: I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
